A lost soul...

Fallen angel Lara Rho is eager to prove herself as a Seeker--one called to rescue other children of air before they are hunted down by the children of fire. Drawn to rootless, restless sailor Justin Miller, she is determined to save him. But Justin is no angel...

A lost life...

Charming drifter Justin is reluctant to get tangled up in port with conscientious Lara. A child of the sea, Justin remembers nothing of his life before the day he was plucked from a shipwreck seven years ago. But one impulsive act lands him literally on the side of the angels and on the run for his life. Lara and Justin must work together to uncover his identity--before what they don't know kills them both.

A passionate journey of discovery...

Pursued by Lara's colleagues and hunted by demons, the two set out on a journey into their darkest fears and deepest desires. Together they have powers neither imagined. But when Justin discovers his merfolk past, will he turn his back on his true nature...or his newfound love?

There are two separate yet connected story lines at play. The children of the sea (selkies) have been attacked by the children of fire (demons) and the three youngest selkie children have been set adrift at sea to protect them while the elders fight. Unfortunately the boat sank and apparently the only survivor was Iestyn though he lost his memories of anything that happened before the wreck. He now goes by the name Justin Miller and has been kidnapped by the children of the air (fallen angels).

another wonderful read from Virginia Kantra. Sweet, hot and satisfyingly romantic.

Review of Forgotten Sea by Virginia Kantra 3 out of 5He was shaken. Changed. She had changed him. Laras kiss- soft lips, warm breath, her life, her strength, in him- had ripped through him with the force of a tornado, churning him to the depths. he floundered in a sea of memory and desire, at the mercy of his dreams, a plaything of the waves, a prisoner of his own mindJustin has no memory of his past except for the last seven years of his life. All he knows is that is he is most at home when by

Was an ok book, but certainly not up to some of the books from this author that I have read.

Huh. Well, this one was different. H had suffered amnesia and forgotten that he was a Child of the Sea. And h was a Child of the Air (read, angel. Fallen in this case). It was more interesting than the previous of the series (which was somewhat like previous in series - human meets selkie or whatever, selkie starts to feel emotions, human has difficulty accepting there are non-humans, etc.) Would like to read *one* in series w/no demon interference. Some things left unexplained (unless they were

How I missed this series. After the events in the third book, I always wondered what became of the lost children. I wish there had been a little more for the original characters to do, instead of having what felt like a small cameo, but I was still happy to see how they were all doing. And I enjoyed finally getting to see what the children of the air were like.
