Great reading for the thrill seeker!The second book was better than the first, at least until close to the end then it got silly.Overall a solid 2 for both books. They are well written and engaging while simultaneously being predictable and trite.I may still read/listen to more of the series. I am a glutton for punishment.
I listened to this one while on a trip and enjoyed it very much, the reader on the CDs is excellent and the book, like all of Cusslers is great
Had both of these as talking books and they kept me interested and alert whilst driving from Darwin to Adelaide. The action and moving plots kept the mind active.

Cussler began writing novels in 1965 and published his first work featuring his continuous series hero, Dirk Pitt, in 1973. His first non-fiction, The Sea Hunters, was released in 1996.
